School of Control Engineering has 4 departments, 3 research institutes, and an engineering center. The current disciplines cover 4 subjects, including Automation, Measuring & Control Technology and Instrumentations, Mechatronics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering and Automation.

School of Control Engineering boasts a qualified faculty of over 35 full-time teachers, including 6 full professors and 18 associate professors, 17 Ph.D. In the recent years, School of Control Engineering has been proactive in recruiting youthful strengths and optimizing the echelon of its faculty. The School of Control Engineering engages in research projects. In recent five years, more than 20 high technology research projects have been undertaken, including the projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Fund “863”, as well as the projects sponsored by provinces, ministries, and enterprises.

In recent years, School of Control Engineering has taken many kinds of reforms to enhance the talents cultivation. The students has acquired great achievements in many contests, including national challenge、electric design、robotic football competition etc. The quality of undergraduate education has received social favorable evaluations.
